The (free!) Sandy Hot Air Balloon Festival!
August 9 & 10, balloon launches start bright and early at 6:30am. If you’re an early riser, you can even help the pilots prep the balloons, and enter to win a free tethered ride 50 – 80 feet in the air. If getting up that early on the weekend sounds like your worst nightmare, you can catch the finale on Saturday evening at 7:00pm- glowing hot air balloons and drone show! There will be music, face painting, and 17 food truck vendors to enjoy.
