Market Trends

July 2024 Newsletter

The housing market trends for the Wasatch Front, covering Salt Lake, Utah, Davis, Tooele, and Weber counties, have been moving and grooving. In April 2024, the median sold price was $500,000, and it bumped up to $510,573 in May 2024. That’s a 10.21% increase in median home prices. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that all home prices have increased that much; it could also mean that more higher-priced homes were sold, influencing the median. Plus, homes are selling close to their original listing prices, with a median sold-to-original listing ratio of 98-99%. Homes are moving faster with the median days on market going from 23 days in April to 21 days in May. All these signs point to a lively market, making it an exciting time for buyers and sellers alike.
